Wi-Fi Playground

An explanation of the Wi-Fi “politeness protocol” in contrast to pre-standards LTE-U, which has no listen-and-wait protocols. If unlicensed spectrum bands are a playground slide, Wi-Fi signals are the children on the slide, but LTE-U can clog up the slide by blocking and interfering with unlicensed spectrum traffic.
