Communities and Wi-Fi (Full Report)
A 2015 WifiForward report examining Wi-Fi usage for various American demographics, specifically focusing on how and where people access the internet. The report found that a majority of online users have used Wi-Fi networks in public places and that Wi-Fi users are more likely than others to say that the Internet has positive impacts on their lives. It also reports that Latinos and African Americans are more frequent users of publicly available Wi-Fi than white Americans and report greater positive impacts than whites in areas such as education, saving time on everyday activities, job search, and pursuing creative activities.
