On May 20, FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler’s gave testimony before the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, Subcommittee on Communications and Technology, saying, “In the past six months, we have made considerable progress toward meeting this demand and making spectrum available for wireless broadband – from establishing the ground rules for the first-ever Incentive Auction, to promoting spectrum sharing, including allowing more unlicensed use. Underlying all of this work, as a baseline to how and why we do what we do, continues to be my favorite mantra: Competition, Competition, Competition.”
