While the world has begun to return to normal, our reliance on the internet is here to stay. The impact Wi-Fi has now — and the steps that must be taken to provide unfettered access in the future — are paramount. WifiForward is excited to celebrate World Wi-Fi Day and present its 2022 Wi-Fi Summit: An Inclusive Spectrum Future.
We are pleased to welcome experts from the FCC, Hill, NTIA, industry and third parties to discuss a range of topics, including Wi-Fi technology, broadband and spectrum policy, and its role in an inclusive digital future.
We have invited colleagues from all over to join us in DC later this month. We are thrilled to host the summit during Pride Month and just after Juneteenth — so it is only fitting that the event focuses particularly on inclusivity.
Speakers, panels and interactive exhibits will explore the contributions that Wi-Fi, unlicensed spectrum and AR and VR technologies can make to connect more people socially, even as society has embraced doing more activities virtually.
Additionally, we are excited to announce our second annual Wi-Fi at Work Awards to shine a spotlight on all the incredible work our coalition has put forward in the past year. Following the event, there will be a cocktail reception.
Please join us on June 21 at 2:30 PM at the District Architecture Center in DC’s historic Chinatown district. We can’t wait to see all of you there!
