Survey Says: What Americans Actually Think About Wi-Fi

Is the sky blue? Does a bear poop in the woods? Is the pope Catholic? Did you need Wi-Fi during the COVID-19 pandemic?

Don’t answer that question. We’ve answered it for you, but with NUMBERS!

WifiForward conducted a survey where 75% of respondents agreed that “Wi-Fi was essential to [them] during the pandemic.” And for many respondents, Wi-Fi was important for various parts of their online life, including adhering to COVID-19 protocols in their localities and doing their jobs effectively while working from home.

Wi-Fi played an important role for all of us during the pandemic — and it’s here to stay. It’s crucial for policymakers to continue crafting balanced and forward-thinking spectrum policies that enable Americans to reliably connect, work and learn online.
